Why I do what I do
I am enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference in the world, especially in the lives of children and teenagers. I absolutely love the gentle approach to well-being that is offered by craniosacral therapy. I first came to experience it when my youngest son had serious colic as an infant. After one session, he miraculously changed into a happy baby overnight and I was hooked! I graduated in 2011 and am now on the path of deeper and deeper understanding of the Breath of Life, which is profound and transformative.
Since an early age I've constantly asked the question 'why am I here?' and this long journey of self-discovery is ever unfolding in my life. In my 20s this found me attending meditation and Jungian based retreats where we used the mythology of goddesses to find the treasures buried deep within. Then in 2001 when I was pregnant with my second son, I discovered shamanism and everything slotted into place for me: my love for nature, my sense of connections and my driving desire to bring harmony and balance to all that I touch. For 20 years I studied the Beauty Way Native American Medicine path with Arwyn Dream-Walker. This path has brought me many rich and profound blessings and weaves beautifully with the teachings offered by craniosacral therapy.
My most important role in life, however, is being a mother and I am blessed with two amazing sons who have both taught me much. I also enjoy reading, organic gardening, walking my chocolate brown Labrador, writing, seeing friends and being in ceremony.
